Colin Esgro



Colin Esgro received his Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Political Science in 2008 from the University of Pittsburgh. In 2013, he earned his Juris Doctor from Duquesne University School of Law.

While in law school, Mr. Esgro earned a number of awards, including: The Shalom Moot Court Award for excellence in Trial Advocacy; The International Academy of Trial Lawyers Student Advocacy Award; 2013 CourtCall Award for Excellence in Trial Advocacy; and a grant to work for the Office of the Attorney General as a Public Service Fellow in the summer of 2011.

In addition, Mr. Esgro was named to The Order of the Barristers, was a regional semi-finalist in the American Association for Justice Student Trial Advocacy Competition, was a national finalist for the National Civil Trial Competition, and was the runner-up for the Best Overall Advocate Award in the National Civil Trial Competition. Mr. Esgro received the “CALI Award of Future Excellence” for earning the highest grade in Trial Advocacy and Expert Evidence.

Prior to joining Wilkes & Associates, Mr. Esgro was a Judicial Intern for the honorable Judge Arthur J. Schwab, and an intern for the Allegheny County Office of the Public Defender. He was also a law clerk for Wilkes & Associates before joining the firm as an attorney.
