Elder Law Luncheon/CLE: Working with law enforcement to prevent and prosecute elder exploitation

Deputy Jeffery E. Merry from the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office will be the guest speaker at this CLE event (worth 1 credit). He began his career with the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office in 2011 and during that time he has been assigned to patrol, the district intelligence unit, and a Homeland Security Task Force. Merry is an expert in investigating Bank Fraud, Wire Fraud, Identity Theft, Credit Card Fraud, Check Fraud, and Money Laundering. He will cover elder exploitation from a family, friend or caregiver perspective; how attorneys and law enforcement can work together; and tips and pitfalls.
