W&M takes 2nd place in 5K two years running

Wilkes & McHugh was proud to be a Big Kahuna sponsor for the Hillsborough County Bar Association’s 15th Annual 5K Pro Bono River Run and Judicial Pig Roast/Food Festival. All funds raised from the event go toward providing pro bono legal services to people in need in Hillsborough County, Florida.

W&M’s team of runners took second place overall in the 5K thanks to attorneys Lisa Tanaka and Carl Wilander and legal assistant Chris Rapozo! They were mere minutes behind the HCBA Military & Veterans Affairs Committee team, which came in first. The firm’s booth theme was Florida Sunshine, and staff volunteers served up gourmet ice pops from Florida-based company The Hyppo, as well as beach-themed lollipops and some rad “sun”-glasses.
