Tampa attorneys named to Super Lawyers lists

Wilkes & McHugh is pleased to announce that Super Lawyers named four of our Tampa attorneys to either the Super Lawyers or Rising Stars lists for 2019.

Super Lawyers is a rating service that utilizes independent research, peer nominations and peer evaluations to identify outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas. They use a patented selection process with 12 indicators, including verdicts, community service, and professional activity, to evaluate candidates.

Only 2.5 percent of attorneys in a given state are named Rising Stars, and only 5 percent of attorneys are named Super Lawyers.

• Jim Wilkes and Bennie Lazzara Jr. were once again named to the Florida Super Lawyers list. They each have received the honor since 2006.
• Michael Beck was named to the 2019 Super Lawyers Florida Rising Stars list for Personal Injury General, Plaintiff. He has been featured on the list since 2013.
• Dara Cooley was named to the 2019 Super Lawyers Florida Rising Stars list for General Litigation. She has been included on the list since 2017.
