FL Constitution Revision Commission to hold public hearing on constitutional amendments, including one to protect nursing home residents’ rights

The Florida Constitution Revision Commission is holding a public hearing on the proposed amendments to the state’s constitution. One of the proposed amendments, Proposition 88, is designed to strengthen nursing home residents’ rights. Wilkes & McHugh attorneys will attend the hearing to speak in favor of the amendment and explain how it will benefit Florida’s vulnerable elderly population. All members of the public are welcome to attend and participate.  End time for the hearing is tentative depending upon attendance and public interest in speaking before the commission.
